The Waterside Project is the first of many exciting new initiatives that will shape the future of Aylesbury – this major re-development and multi-faceted scheme will considerably expand the town centre area. Waterside’s blend of cultural facilities and café / restaurants will appeal to all ages; adding vibrancy and appeal for local residents and visitors alike.
Work has now commenced on the project which is very much a partnership initiative supported and funded by both local government and private enterprise. The Waterside development also incorporates a major retail area, a greatly enhanced canal side environment surrounding plus a new residential quarter.

Following extensive public consultation on the initial proposals, the details of the scheme have been refined and applications for outline planning permissions are being considered.
