Significant new growth in housing around Aylesbury will need to be matched by an escalation in job creation. Much of this will be met by inward investment. However, on the eastern side of the town a 26 ha site has been identified as a major employment area over the next few years. There is also a new employment site of 10 ha at Berryfields.
Aston Clinton will provide a high quality environment for high tech businesses wishing to take advantage of its proximity to the M25, as well as its nearness to important centres such as Oxford and Milton Keynes. The framework for development of the site includes improved facilities for public transport, cycling and walking.
