‘Queen’s Awards for Enterprise’, the UK’s leading accolade for business success.
The enterprising local businesses who both won in the ‘Queen’s Award for International Trade’ category are:
Diamond Consulting Services Ltd (DCS), based at Dinton, Buckinghamshire.The company is probably best known for the Idris® Technology - advanced algorithms and specialist sensors used for traffic detection in a variety of safety and data collection applications.

Dage Precision Instruments Ltd, based at the Aylesbury Industrial Centre, Dage are involved in the research, development and manufacture of advanced x-ray inspection and bond testing equipment. This is the second time that Dage have won a Queen’s Award.

It sells under its "Idris" brand name and claims its product to be one of the world's most accurate vehicle detection systems.
