The Dept. of Trade and Industry are already contributing to the economic well-being of the Vale and Aylesbury Vale Advantage (AVA) wishes to see your continued success and expansion. The Department of Trade and Industry statistics for the ‘Environment Technologies’ business ‘sector’, project significant growth over the next ten years. It is our view that the impending growth in housing within The Vale of Aylesbury will also influence local business activity.
Aylesbury Vale Advantage aims to promote The Vale of Aylesbury, aiding local businesses to generate their share of this projected growth. AVA will achieve this with the business support agencies within The Vale of Aylesbury / Buckinghamshire and its business relationships with The South East of England Development Agency and The Government Office of The South East of England.
It is the aim of AVA to encourage the establishment of an ‘Environmental Technologies’ Business ‘investment network’ in the Vale. Your company's participation will help to promote the success and growth of existing businesses and to attract other ‘Environmental Technology’ companies to relocate to the Vale. The benefits to your company, of working with other companies to form a network which shares similar goals and aspirations, are outlined in the attached paper.
Some companies have already held discussions on this subject with Peter Howson of Aylesbury Vale District Council’s Economic Development Unit (01296 585634) and made presentations at the recent event.
If you were unable to attend the launch event, perhaps you would be interested enough to complete the Environment Business Profile Survey featured below. Your feedback will enable us to direct are infrastructure networking discussions to maximise support to facilitate business growth within The Vale of Aylesbury, both now and for the longer term.
We look forward to working in partnership to achieve these aims and look forward to your cooperation and future participation.
