


Local businesses in Aylesbury are predicting a boom thanks to new regeneration projects taking place in and around the district.
With various projects planned for '06, there is a positive feeling amongst business owners. Aylesbury Vale Advantage is working with local partners to promote the expansion of work, housing and education opportunities within the area. With population growth predicted and new homes being built, there has never been a better time for businesses to come to the area.
Greg Lomax, Managing Director of Aylesbury Vale Association said: "Aylesbury Vale has a great deal to offer in terms of being a place to live, learn, and socialise. There will be enhancements in housing, employment, health, transport, education, and the environment which will offer something for everyone."
Managing Director of Corporate Identity UK Ltd, Ant hony Ososki first moved to Aylesbury in the early '70's and admits to not seeing it as a business development area due to its agricultural associations. But after returning in the late '80's observed a constant and professional approach moving forward.
He said: "I have seen the introduction of many initiatives, taking every aspect of trade and commerce forward in harmony with the social and community plans that seem to characterise the local authorities at all levels. I must say that there is a positive feeling here which pervades all the various facets of social and commercial life."
Steve Read, Director of Signs Express (Aylesbury), said: "I recognise the business potential of the Aylesbury area, which has excellent road and rail links and is set to expand over the next few years."
