Aylesbury Vale Advantage (AVA) has appointed Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher as their new Chair. Sir Henry is the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire and has career interests including farming and radio broadcasting/producing. He is also currently the President of the Aylesbury Vale branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), Deputy President of the Country Land and Business Association, Chairman of the Buckinghamshire Rural Affairs Group (BRAG) and a Trustee of Bucks Young Farmers. Sir Henry has been a board member of AVA since 2004 and looks forward to working with residents and partners of Aylesbury District. “I am delighted to be so closely involved in a progressive initiative that will have a profound bearing for all of us who live and work in Aylesbury Vale”. He replaces Sir Nigel Mobbs, who sadly passed away in October of this year
