Obituary Sir Nigel Mobbs KSt.J, JP Former Chairman, Aylesbury Vale Advantage
The death of Sir Nigel Mobbs, the founding chairman of Aylesbury Vale Advantage is a great loss, not merely to AVA but also to the County of Buckinghamshire as a whole.
Sir Nigel was a major driving force in taking AVA from an idea into a delivery vehicle for the new homes, job opportunities and infrastructure proposed for Aylesbury Vale.
He led the Board and staff through the difficult initial phase of establishing a new organisation. He set its agenda and through his dedication, commitment and personal example helped guide the AVA Board through its important early decisions.
